Yamaha CR-1020 Stereo Receiver. FULL REBUILD.
Fully restored in January 2026. We use ONLY hiqh quality audio grade parts, ordered at Mouser/DigiKey. No corner cutting to save a few bucks.
What was done:
Both filter capacitors have been replaced with the same diameter to keep the original design.
Power output transistors were replaced with 100% matching hFE Onsemi MJ21195G/MJ21196G pairs.
New Omron relay was installed to improve reliability.
ALL electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with audio grade Nichicon UPW, UKL, WIMA and Kemet film caps.
All tired resistors and diodes have been replaced with Onsemi, Fairchild.
Many noisy and tired transistors were replaced.
LED lamp upgrade to cool white.
Bias and power meters have been adjusted.
Exterior conditions:
Faceplate. The front side is in perfect condition like 9/10
Wood. The wooden cabinet has imperfections. Look at the left upper corner. Also a few dents. All of them are pictured. Reconditioned with a walnut finish.
Every restored unit has a full burning day at medium volume in FM mode.
Comes with an original box with inserts and user manual. Will be shipped in the additional box and fully insured.
