Pioneer SX-727 Stereo AM/FM Receiver
Fully restored in 2025.
What was done:
Full rebuild.
New protection relay.
Some tired resistors and diodes.
All noisy transistors replaced with Onsemi, Fairchild. Outputs are mathing pairs of Onsemi MJ21193G/MJ21194G
Both filter capacitors have been replaced by costly same diameter caps with upgraded to 10000uF capacitance.
ALL new audio grade electrolytic capacitors – Nichicon, WIMA Film caps.
LED lamp upgrade.
Bias and DC Offset adjusted to specs.
Measurements after restoration show ~19V on both channels and output ~45 watts per channel RMS into 8 ohm.
The unit has one faceplate imperfection under Selector knob. Pictured in macro mode to clarify the things.
Comes with two speaker plugs, nothing else included.
Will be well double boxed for shipment.
