Marantz 2220B Stereo Receiver w/ Original Packaging

Marantz 2220B Stereo AM/FM Receiver with original double box and all the original packaging. Serial numbers on the unit and the box are matching!

Fully restored in July 2025. We use ONLY high-quality audio grade parts, ordered at Mouser/DigiKey. No corner cutting to save a few bucks.

What was done:

Both filter capacitors have been replaced with the same diameter to keep the original design and screw terminals

Power output transistors have been replaced with Onsemi MJ21193G/MJ21194G.

ALL electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with audio grade Nichicon UPW, UKL, WIMA and Kemet film caps.

All tired resistors and diodes have been replaced with Onsemi, Fairchild.

Many noisy and tired transistors were replaced.

LED lamp upgrade to warm blue.

Power, bias and DC offset voltages were adjusted to specs.

Every restored unit has a full burning day at medium volume.

All cabinet imperfections are pictured in MACRO mode, but they are invisible from a couple of feet distance. The front plate is in perfect condition, top cover has one vinyl peeling off spot. Two knobs have light minor scratches. As I said I pictured all imperfections and they are light and only visible from close view.
